I am so glad to be
able to share this with you. This has been a call on our hearts for years and we
are so excited finally to be able to cultivate it!
Our heart is to
reach people for God and we have an opportunity to do that by starting
and directing an internship program for the Assembly of God World Missions. For
the next few years we will be building up a program designed to help new
missionaries become better equipped for the field by way of classes and hands-on
training with established missionaries all over the world. We will be the
support behind these missionaries to help strengthen and motivate them as they
proceed through the transition to the field.
This is such an exciting
opportunity for us as not only will we be gaining experience and knowledge for
OUR future ventures but helping hundreds of new missionaries in their journey as
well! The impact this program will have created is a more well balanced,
culturally sensitive and informative missionary.
Many a missionary has gone
blindly into the field only to feel discouraged, burnt out and return home
empty. This is a chance to change the way we reach people for Christ by creating
stronger, better equipped missionaries.
